Dalmatia · Fourteen days, coast to island to mountain

Northern & Central Dalmatia Grand Tour

The Northern & Central Dalmatia Grand Tour is the most comprehensive private journey within the Adrion collection, bringing together the extraordinary diversity of Dalmatia in one carefully curated experience. Rather than focusing on a single destination, this fourteen-day itinerary reveals the region through its changing landscapes, cultures and traditions — historic cities, UNESCO World Heritage sites, national parks, secluded islands, dramatic mountain scenery, authentic gastronomy, private speedboat experiences and a multi-day Adriatic cruise, combined into a single journey from Zadar to the Makarska Riviera.

The journey

  1. Day 1

    Arrival · Zadar

Private arrival transfer to Zadar, a guided experience through the old town — the Roman Forum, the Cathedral of St Anastasia, the Sea Organ and the Greeting to the Sun — and a welcome dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Dugi Otok Signature Speedboat Experience

A private speedboat day along Dugi Otok: the Veli Rat lighthouse, Sakarun beach, Božava, then Telašćica Nature Park, Lake Mir and the island’s dramatic cliffs, with swimming in secluded bays and a signature lunch.

  3. Day 3

    Krka & Šibenik Signature Experience

Krka National Park and its waterfalls, the boat transfer down to Skradin, and the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St James in Šibenik.

  4. Day 4

    Northern Dalmatia Discovery

Northern Dalmatia at its quietest — Nin and the Church of the Holy Cross, the salt pans, and the wineries and olive groves of Ravni Kotari.

  5. Day 5

    Embarkation · Kornati National Park

Embarkation and the safety briefing, then out into Kornati National Park as the journey moves from the mainland to the sea.

  6. Day 6

    Šibenik Archipelago

A morning cruise through the Šibenik archipelago to Prvić and Zlarin, islands where the pace has not changed in generations.

  7. Day 7

    Šolta · Hvar

Cruising to Šolta with a swimming stop, then on to Hvar for the evening.

  8. Day 8

    Pakleni Islands · Vis

The Pakleni Islands and their channels for swimming, then across to Vis — an island closed to visitors for decades and all the better preserved for it.

  9. Day 9

    Biševo · Brač · Split

Biševo and the Blue Cave subject to sea conditions, then Brač before returning to Split.

  10. Day 10

    Split & Trogir UNESCO Experience

The UNESCO day: Salona Archaeological Park, Diocletian’s Palace in Split and the old town of Trogir.

  11. Day 11

    Cetina Signature Experience

The Cetina Signature Experience, adapted individually to the group — the canyon, the river and the landscape above Omiš.

  12. Day 12

    Biokovo Signature Experience

Biokovo Nature Park, the Skywalk and the mountain road high above the Makarska Riviera.

  13. Day 13

Makarska Riviera & Brač Signature Speedboat Experience

A signature speedboat day along the Makarska Riviera and across to Brač, with swimming and a final lunch by the sea.

  14. Day 14

    Departure

A relaxed final morning before the private departure transfer.

Questions

Is this a private journey?

Yes. Every departure is organised exclusively for the guests travelling together — private transportation, a dedicated Adrion Travel Host and journey coordination arranged for your group alone, with no scheduled departures or shared vehicles.

Can the itinerary be adjusted?

The overall structure and defining experiences remain consistent, while the cruising route, individual experiences and dining may be adapted according to travel dates, weather and sea conditions, seasonal opportunities and individual preferences.

How is the journey priced?

Every journey is prepared individually according to group size, travel dates, accommodation preferences, boat category, seasonal availability and any optional experiences. For that reason a price is prepared for each enquiry rather than published as a fixed rate.

What accommodation is used?

Accommodation is proposed individually, with Adrion Curated Private Villas as the preferred option and a selection of premium boutique and luxury hotels available on request. Every property is matched to your travel dates, group size and preferences.
